Lee Make History campaign has reached its Grand Finale: the winner of Make History First Edition has been announced!
Make History officially went live in January 2007 and over the two years of the contest more than 16.000 entries were submitted ( from 90 different countries around the world), of which some 2000 were featured online. The very best picture stories were also published in various fashion magazines.
By the end of December 2008 a shortlist of 101 picture stories had been published on the makehistory.eu website. The winner was chosen from these works by a panel including Veronique Kolasa (Le Book), Carla Sozzani (Galleria Carla Sozzani), Terry Jones (i-D Magazine, in the last image) and Frank Kalero (Ojo de Pez).
The title of the winning work, announced by the Jury on 25th February is "THE WEAK IN WONDERLAND". The author is Rossella Domichina, 27 years old, from Ferrara, Italy ( picture below).
The winning work, together with the other 100 shortlisted picture stories, will be show at the Revel Gallery in Via Thaon De Revel 3 (Milan), from 25th February until 9th March 2009.
